Tageos showcases ‘The Power of RFID’

In collaboration with Fedrigoni, Tageos has been presenting an extensive selection of RFID inlays and tags

Tageos, a global designer and manufacturer of high-performance RFID inlays and tags, has been demonstrating “The Power of RFID” at Labelexpo Europe 2025 in Barcelona, Spain. At the tradeshow, the company has been highlighting how it can support its customers, such as Converters and System Integrators, to respond to the latest customer demands, achieve high productivity and efficiency, improve sustainability efforts and expand their range of labels and packaging offerings.

In collaboration with Fedrigoni, Tageos has been presenting an extensive selection of RFID inlays and tags, based on the newest antenna designs, materials and ICs. This includes Impinj M800 ICs with Gen2X enhancements, one of the most recent developments in the radio and logic layers of the RAIN Gen2 radio standard. Gen2X opens up new applications for businesses, speeds up inventory management, increases the tag read range, protects consumers, reduces costs, and prevents the counterfeiting of labels and items. Logistic providers, retailers and grocery chains, for example, can now significantly improve loss prevention and self-checkout.

Other state-of-the-art ICs as part of the Tageos’ product portfolio include NXP Semiconductors’ UCODE 9 and NTAG product families, EM Microelectronics’ echo product family, and many more. Two new Tageos products designed for enhanced performance and reliability in a wide range of applications and industries, including retail, customer experience, logistics, and industrial environments, are also being unveiled at the show. The EOS-650 EM4425, a dual-frequency (HF/NFC and UHF) inlay has been designed for use in retail and consumer goods applications, where NFC functionality provides connected customer experiences while RAIN RFID enables inventory management as well as track and trace functionality for logistics applications. Meanwhile, the EOS-400 U9xm RAIN RFID inlay is purpose-built for automotive, industrial manufacturing, and logistics markets as it delivers robust global performance on high dielectric load materials such as PA (polyamides) and PMMA (acrylic glass), among others. It also has a large memory capacity that makes it an excellent choice for inventory visibility, parts management, and other industrial applications.

By continuously expanding its broad portfolio of products and services, Tageos underscores its commitment to providing customers with innovative, state-of-the-art products that meet both current and future market requirements.

“We are thrilled to exhibit at Labelexpo Europe 2025 for the first time, alongside Fedrigoni, demonstrating together the dedication to our customers and the label and packaging industry,” says Karin Fabri, chief marketing officer at Tageos. “We look forward to showcasing our new, high-performance RFID innovations and comprehensive services. At the same time, we invite customers and prospects to experience first-hand how our product portfolio and team of industry experts can help them meet their customers’ needs for operational efficiency, accuracy, and supply chain transparency, all while enabling a circular economy.”
